Ross & Wallace Paper Products, Inc. was established in 1951 by Albert Ross with his wife, Noreen.  After serving in the Merchant Marine in World War II, Albert went to work in a bag factory.  In the late 1940’s, he decided that he wanted to go into business for himself and began building his own machines eventually patenting several of his designs.  In 1951 Albert and Noreen established Ross & Wallace Paper Products, Inc. with then business partner, Millard Wallace.

Eventually, Albert’s son, Kenneth Ross, took control of the company beginning his career in manufacturing on the factory floor.  To this day Ross & Wallace Paper Products, Inc. is still located in Hammond, Louisiana boasting a 100,000 square foot facility with its own railroad siding and truck docks capable of producing just about every size bag in the paper industry.   We are one of the longest continuously running businesses in Hammond, and one of the oldest manufacturers in the state of Louisiana.

True to our family company roots, we are proud of our loyal staff some with decades of experience.  Our excellence in service, timeliness, and the quality of our products truly set us apart now as they have for three generations.

Hammond, Louisiana was selected as the location for the new company for its strategic crossroads of both railways and roadways.  Originally focused on manufacturing merchandise bags, our brand has grown to also include an array of sizes of grocery bags, grocery sacks, heavy-duty bags, and paper rolls printed and plain in a large variety of papers.
